These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and SkinCue ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by Kartik Dudhat as an independent developer based in Surat, Gujarat, India.
By downloading, accessing, or using the SkinCue mobile application (the "App" or "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
SkinCue is a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to analyze photos of users' skin and provide personalized skincare routine recommendations. Users can take photos of their face from three angles (front, left, right) which are analyzed by AI to assess skin conditions such as acne, hydration, pore visibility, and pigmentation. Based on the analysis and user-provided information (skin type, concerns, goals), the App generates a customized skincare routine, tracks daily adherence, and monitors progress over time.
The Service is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future, in which case you will be notified before any charges apply.
SkinCue is intended for general wellness and skincare guidance only. The information, recommendations, and analyses provided by the App are not medical advice and should not be considered a substitute for professional medical diagnosis, treatment, or care.
You should always consult a qualified dermatologist or healthcare provider for any medical concerns related to your skin, including but not limited to persistent acne, skin lesions, rashes, allergic reactions, or any condition that you suspect requires medical attention. Do not rely on SkinCue for diagnosis or treatment of any medical condition.
The AI-generated analyses and recommendations are based on visual data and self-reported information only. Results may not be accurate for all users or all skin conditions.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use SkinCue. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these age requirements.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at kdudhat1312@gmail.com and we will take steps to delete such information.

You may delete your User Content at any time by deleting your account through the in-app settings. Upon account deletion, your User Content and associated data will be removed from our systems within a reasonable time frame.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our express written permission.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. SINCE THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, THIS AMOUNT IS GENERALLY ZERO.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SkinCue and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with:
You may terminate your account at any time by using the account deletion feature in the App settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law shall survive termination.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of these Terms. If we make material changes, we may notify you by posting a notice in the App or by other means.
Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Surat, Gujarat, India.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SkinCue regarding your use of the Service.
