We process your personal information for the following reasons:
In short: We share information with the specific third parties listed below, who help us operate the Services. We do not sell your personal information.
We share your personal information with the following categories of third parties:
| Third party | What is shared | Why |
|---|---|---|
| OpenAI | Your scan photographs and the skin information you report (skin type, concerns, goals) | To perform the automated AI analysis of your skin and generate your routine recommendations. See Do we offer artificial intelligence-based products. |
| Google (Firebase) | Your account details, scan photographs, analysis results, routine data, and app settings | Cloud hosting, user authentication, database storage, file storage, and serverless functions. Google acts as our infrastructure provider and processes this data on our behalf. |

We may also need to share your personal information in the following situations:
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your photos with advertisers or data brokers.
In short: Yes. Our skin analysis is powered by a third-party AI provider, and your photos are sent to that provider to be analyzed.
As part of our Services, we offer products, features, or tools powered by artificial intelligence, machine learning, or similar technologies (collectively, "AI Products"). The terms in this Privacy Notice govern your use of the AI Products within our Services.
We provide the AI Products through third-party service providers ("AI Service Providers"), specifically OpenAI. Your input, output, and personal information — including the photographs of your face that you submit for analysis — will be shared with and processed by OpenAI to enable your use of our AI Products, for the purposes outlined in When and with whom do we share your personal information. You must not use the AI Products in any way that violates the terms or policies of any AI Service Provider.
Our AI Products are designed for the following functions:
All personal information processed using our AI Products is handled in line with this Privacy Notice and our agreements with third parties.
SkinCue provides cosmetic skincare guidance. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose, and it cannot detect skin cancer or other medical conditions. Automated analysis can be inaccurate and can miss things a clinician would identify. You should not rely on SkinCue to assess whether a skin concern is medically significant. If you are worried about a mole, a spot that is changing, or anything that will not heal, see a qualified healthcare professional.
In short: If you choose to register or log in using a Google or Apple account, we may have access to certain information about you.
Our Services offer you the ability to register and log in using your Google or Apple account. Where you choose to do this, we will receive certain profile information about you from that provider. The profile information we receive typically includes your name and email address, and may include your profile picture.
If you sign in with Apple, Apple gives you the option to hide your real email address and share a private relay address instead. If you choose that option, we receive only the relay address.
We use the information we receive only for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice or otherwise made clear to you on the relevant Services. We do not control, and are not responsible for, other uses of your personal information by Google or Apple. We recommend that you review their privacy notices to understand how they collect, use, and share your personal information, and how you can set your privacy preferences.
In short: We keep your information for as long as you have an account with us, and we automatically delete older scan photos.
We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. No purpose in this notice will require us to keep your personal information for longer than the period of time in which you have an account with us.
Specifically:
You can delete individual data and your entire account at any time from within the app. When you delete your account, we delete your scan photographs, analysis results, profile photo, and account record. When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it, or, if this is not possible (for example, because it has been stored in backup archives), we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
In short: We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures.
We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections, and your scans are stored in a private area of our cloud storage that is accessible only to your authenticated account.
However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.
In short: You may review, change, or terminate your account at any time, depending on your country, province, or state of residence.
Withdrawing your consent: If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information — which may be express and/or implied consent depending on the applicable law — you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us using the contact details provided in How can you contact us about this notice, or by deleting your account in the app.
However, please note that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal, nor, where applicable law allows, will it affect the processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.
If you would at any time like to review or change the information in your account, or terminate your account, you can:
Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. However, we may retain some information in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our legal terms, and/or comply with applicable legal requirements.
If you have questions or comments about your privacy rights, you may email us at kdudhat1312@gmail.com.
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.
In short: You may have additional rights based on the country you reside in.

This Privacy Notice satisfies the notice requirements defined in both Privacy Acts, in particular: what personal information we collect from you, from which sources, for which purposes, and other recipients of your personal information.
If you do not wish to provide the personal information necessary to fulfill their applicable purpose, it may affect our ability to provide our services, in particular:
At any time, you have the right to request access to or correction of your personal information. You can make such a request by contacting us using the contact details provided in How can you review, update, or delete the data we collect from you.
If you believe we are unlawfully processing your personal information, you have the right to submit a complaint about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner and about a breach of New Zealand's Privacy Principles to the Office of the New Zealand Privacy Commissioner.
In short: Yes, we will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws.
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Notice. If we make material changes to this Privacy Notice, we may notify you either by prominently posting a notice of such changes or by directly sending you a notification. We encourage you to review this Privacy Notice frequently to be informed of how we are protecting your information.
